День 24 лютого 2022 став став жахом і трагедією для всіх нас, а також всіх тих, хто був душею та серцем пов’язаний з Харковом.

Нинішня ситуація війни і те, як вона затягнулася, справді розривають серце.
Ми, як і весь світ знаємо, що російське вторгнення в Україну наклало жахливий вплив на ваше життя, багато з вас втратили свій дім, своїх близьких, залишилися без їжі, ховаються в бомбосховищах, прекрасні міста та будівлі зруйновані, вбиті невинні діти.
Багато солдатів втратили на війні життя, щоб врятувати країну та повернути мир у країні.
Україна була моїм другим домом протягом останніх 4 років, і моє серце болить від усіх цих руйнівних ситуацій, які відбуваються всередині України. Це не те, чого Україна заслуговує.
Україна заслуговує на свою Незалежність, свободу управління власною державою.
Я так пишаюся кожним українцем, тим, як ви підтримуєте один одного, допомогаєте один одному в цій жахливій ситуації.

У цій ситуації ваш біль - це наш біль.
У цей період війни ми переконалися, що величезна сила - це не сила, ваша мужність - це сила. (Дорога Україно, що має значення, не обов’язково розмір собаки в бою, а розмір бійки в собаці).

Greetings to my dear Ukrainian colleagues, friends,and to my teachers of my beloved Kharkiv International Medical University!
The current situation of war and the way it has been prolonged this far is really heart breaking.
We, the whole world knows that russian invasion in Ukraine has left the horrifying impact on your lives, many of you have lost your home, your loved ones, running out of food, rushing to bomb shelters, beautiful cities and buildings have been destroyed, innocent children have been killed.
Many soldiers have lost there lives to save the country and to bring back peace to the country.
Ukraine has been my 2nd home for past 4 years and my heart aches seeing all these devastating situations happening inside Ukraine, This is not what Ukraine deserves.
Ukraine deserves its Independence, freedom of ruling their own country.
I am so so proud of every single Ukrainian, the way you guys have come forward to support each other, to help each other in this terrifying situation .
A big salute to soldiers and every single frontline workers.
In this situation your pain is our pain.
During this period of war we have seen that huge force is not a power, your courage is a power. (Dear Ukraine what counts is not necessarily the size of dog in the fight, it's the size of fight in the dog).
We hold you in our hearts, we are so close to victory, there will be peace very soon in Ukraine and we all will again meet each other at our beloved university. (Please take care of yourselves )

З душевним болем і жахом ми сприймаємо смерть і страждання невинного українського народу, який зазнанав нещадного акту жахливої агресії. Я хотіла би передати своє сердечне співчуття та повну солідарність з вашим героїчним народом. Прикро бачити, як тисячі жінок і дітей виїжджають зі своїх домівок і шукають притулку в різних країнах, небажано розлучаючись зі своїми батьками, чоловіками, братами та іншими членами сім’ї.
Особливо свідоцтва геноциду в Бучі та жахливих терактів у Маріуполі залишають мене справді з розбитим серцем і безмовною.
Я вітаю і шаную дух кожного солдата і трудівника, які захищають Україну в цей жахливий нищівний час. Прикро, але багато солдатів і робітників загинуло, але вони назавжди залишаться героями, які боролися за Незалежність, водночас з’ясовуючи, як страх і виснаження повинні часом розбивати всіх.

With heart wrenching pain and terror, we are perceiving the deaths and the suffering of innocent Ukrainian people, mercilessly attacked in an act of horrifying aggression. I would like to convey my heartfelt sympathy, compassion, and entire solidarity with your heroic nation. It is heartbreaking to see thousands of women and children set out from their homes and seeking refuge in different countries, being unwanted separated from their dads, husbands, brothers and other family members.
Witnessing especially, the Genocide in Butcha and the horrible attacks in Mariupol, leaves me really heartbroken and speechless.
I salute and honor the spirit of every Soldier and Worker who are defending Ukraine in this horrible devastating time. Grievously, many soldiers and workers have fallen but they will remain as heroes forever, who fought for the Independency, while on the same time ascertaining how fear and exhaustion must be shattering at times for everyone.
As one of your closest neighbor, we as German people, stand behind you against the russian invasion, we feel deeply concerned and responsible for arrange as much support as we possibly can.
These are tragic and appalling times but we sustain our hope and faith in the prosaic humanity and the power of the human spirit to sustain oneself and flourish.

Я пишу, щоб висловити нашу підтримку та турботу. Ми всі уважно стежимо за трагічною війною, що відбувається в Україні. Багато громадян втратили свої життя, будинки та близьких. Я хотіла б скористатися цією нагодою, щоб поговорити про всіх солдатів та громадян, які втратили свої життя заради своєї країни. Коли я вперше відвідала Україну, мені здавалась дуже красивою та миролюбною країною. Ніхто не прагне війни. Існує цитата, яка говорить: "Справжній солдат бореться не тому, що ненавидить те, що знаходиться перед ним, а тому, що любить те, що знаходиться позаду нього". Це дуже точно описує ситуацію в Україні. Як співгромадянин з іншої країни, я сподіваюся, що ви всі залишитесь міцними та мужніми. Україна подолає все це. Ми всі впевнені, що ви вийдете переможцями, і країна повернеться до мирного життя, яким вона була раніше.

I am writing to express our support and care.
We all are following carefully the tragic war happening in Ukraine. So many citizens lost their lives, home and loved ones. I would like to take this opportunity to talk about all the soldiers and citizens who lost their lives for their country. When I first visited Ukraine, I found it to be a really beautiful and peaceful country. No one desires a war. There is a quote which says, “A true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him but because he loves what is behind him.” Which very accurately depicts the situation in Ukraine. As a fellow human from another country, I hope that you all remain strong-wiled and brave-hearted. Ukraine will overcome all this. We all are sure that you emerge victorious and the country goes back to being peaceful as it was.
Very soon we all will meet in the University and enjoy peaceful life in Kharkiv.

І дуже великий салют Збройним силам України і тим, хто воює на фронті. Україна це мій другий дім, коли я проводив там час я відчувався як у раю, і я жив дуже мирно.
Я щодня сподіваюся повернутися в Україну, але війна в Україні проти російської агресії загострюється з кожним днем, в Україні руйнуються житлові будинки, торгові центри, школи, лікарні тощо. Але правда в тому, що Україна переможе, і ми повернемося в Україну і побачимо ще красивішу Україну.
І я дуже вдячний викладачам Харківського міжнародного медичного університету, навіть у ці важкі часи вони проводять заняття в дистанційному режимі. Тож дякую за цю можливість, яку ви дали мені поговорити про Україну. Україна переможе

But the people and armed forces of Ukraine are really great and they are brave.They are fighting for their home and their lives against russian aggression. I hope everyday to return back to Ukraine but the war in Ukraine against Russian aggression is getting worse day by day, the residential buildings , malls, schools and hospitals etc., all are destroyed in Ukraine.
